StarMaker Gets $4M for Karaoke Apps
StarMaker Interactive, which makes pitch-correcting karaoke apps under its own brand, as well as an app for the hit NBC singing competition “The Voice,” has raised $4 million from Qualcomm Ventures and iGlobe Partners. The company, which has been around for three years, said it has logged two billion minutes of singing so far. It just recently launched on Android.
