Fall is typically a busy season for cellphone announcements as companies and carriers prep for the upcoming holiday season, and this year is no different.

Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro

AT&T today revealed a cornucopia of new 4G LTE devices — all from Samsung — that will be available in the coming months, including two new smartphones and a tablet. Details are still scant on all of the features, but here’s a quick overview of each device:

First up is the Samsung Galaxy Express. The Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-toting handset is aimed at first-time smartphone users and has a 4.5-inch touchscreen and rear-facing five-megapixel camera. It’s also equipped with a 2,000 mAh battery and a dual-core 1.5GHz processor.

For adventurous types and those who are rough on their gadgets, the Galaxy Rugby Pro offers a rugged design that’s waterproof in up to three feet of water for up to 30 minutes; it’s also shock-resistant and dust-proof. It will support AT&T’s enhanced push-to-talk service, which is scheduled to launch in November.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

Other features of the Rugby Pro include a four-inch touchscreen with an 800 x 480 pixel resolution, a five-megapixel camera on back, and full device encryption for business users.

Finally, there is the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Sporting a 10.1-inch touchscreen, the tablet comes preloaded with several Samsung services, including Media Hub for access to entertainment content, and Smart Remote, a remote-control app.

It comes with a 7,000 mAh battery and also supports on-device encryption VPN access.

The three devices join the previously announced Samsung Galaxy Note II, which should arrive by mid-November. AT&T did not announce exact availability dates or pricing for these new devices at this time.
