While today’s smartphones are a big hunk of glass with a power-hungry display, the future of mobile computing will be lighter, more malleable and, in many cases, worn on our bodies.

At least that’s the vision Samsung is putting forth in a new concept video that Samsung strategy chief Young Sohn showed off on Tuesday at the start of the MobileBeat conference in San Francisco. “We think the health area is a really key area of innovation,” said Sohn.

While only about 10 percent of those at the conference were using a wearable device, Sohn said that number is poised to rise sharply as computing gets woven into clothing and integrated into glasses, watches and other products.
