Drake Martinet

Drake Martinet is currently a Masters candidate at Stanford University's School of Communication, studying journalism and technology. In addition to working as a journalist, his interests stretch into developing new technological tools for journalists and media content producers.
Mr. Martinet has also worked as a gubernatorial speechwriter and as a researcher for a U.S. senator. He has also been News Director and General Manager at KDVS 90.3 fm and was an APEC fellow and media director at the Virtual Trade Mission in 2004.
In 2007, he founded the Sustainable Peoples Project, a not-for-profit initiative that focuses on human sustainability issues in harsh environments.
Mr. Martinet is an alumnus of UC Davis, and expects to graduate from Stanford in June 2010.
Ethics Statement
As a graduate student, my disclosure is painfully simple. I currently have no investments in stock or ownership of any business of any kind. I attend school on an academic fellowship supplied by Stanford University, contingent only upon my satisfactory progress within my course of study.
My only major investments are my education, my camera bag and my toolbox. I wouldn't consider any of those financial instruments, although they always pay dividends.
