The sixth edition of The Wall Street Journal’s D: All Things Digital will be held May 27 to May 29, 2008 at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara in Carlsbad, California.

Seats for D6 have officially sold out! To add yourself to the waitlist in case a space becomes available, please complete the online registration form.

Registration Fees

The Standard Registration Fee is $4,495 and includes access to conference sessions, scheduled meal functions and social events.

For an additional fee, spouses and guests are welcome to join us at all scheduled meal functions and social events, to include the Opening Reception and Dinner and other special events to be scheduled throughout the conference. The Spouse / Guest Fee is $950.

Open-Play Golf

Join your friends and colleagues on the morning of Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 8:00 am for 18 holes of golf at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara Golf Club. Aviara’s memorable 18-hole coastal layout was designed by Arnold Palmer. The 7,007-yard, par-72 course is sculpted around the natural topography, with water hazards positioned as visual extensions of the lagoon.

If you should decide to participate in the golf outing, you will be contacted regarding club rental, shoe rental and other details. Green Fees are $215.00 per person.

Hotel Reservations

D will once again take place at the spectacular Four Seasons Resort Aviara in Carlsbad, just north of San Diego. However, rooms at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara are currently sold out for D6. If you would like to be placed on the waitlist for a room at the Aviara, please call the D Registration and Housing Office toll-free at 1.866.416.DWSJ (3975) or email registration@dwsj.com. Outside of the United States, please call 650.574.DWSJ (3975).

Because we can not guarantee availability via the waitlist, we suggest you reserve a room at one of the nearby hotels — the Hilton Garden Inn Carlsbad Beach or La Costa Resort and Spa. Rooms are available at a rate of $189 per night at the Hilton Garden Inn and $285 per night at the La Costa Resort and Spa, if you let them know you are with The Wall Street Journal’s D: All Things Digital conference.

The D Housing and Registration Office does not manage rooms at these hotels, so please contact the hotels directly to secure your own reservations.

Four Seasons Hotel Reservation Policies

If you have already booked a room at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara for D6, please be sure to review the following reservation policies.
During the last several years, hotel rooms at the Aviara have sold out even faster than seats at the conference. To help meet the high demand, we have instituted a few important policies:

1. Attendees who wish to stay at the Aviara for the D6 conference will be required, at a minimum, to reserve their room for the nights of Tuesday, May 27 and Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Exceptions to this policy will be made for Speakers only.
2. Each attendee can reserve a maximum of two rooms, and rooms are subject to availability.
3. Reservations must be guaranteed by credit card during the reservation process. Full room and tax for your entire stay, (including nights reserved prior to May 27 and May 28) will be charged by The Wall Street Journal on Friday, April 11, 2008.
4. There will be no refunds after Friday, April 11, 2008.
5. Any changes to your hotel reservation must be made through the D Housing and Registration Office, and not the Four Seasons Resort Aviara. If you have questions about the Aviara, your room reservations or are interested in booking a suite, please call the D Housing and Registration Office toll-free at 1.866.416.DWSJ (3975). Four Seasons Hotel Cancellations

Hotel reservations at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara are refundable until Friday, April 11, 2008. After that date, refunds will not be issued.

Hotel reservations at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara may be released prior to Friday, April 11, 2008 without penalty. After that date, you are responsible for all charges associated with reservations requested.

Registration & Transfer Policy

Transfers and substitutions for Standard registration fees are accepted. However, discounted Charter Member registrations are not transferable. If you are a Charter registrant and cannot attend, your may transfer your registration to a colleague at the Standard registration rate.

Registration Cancellation Policy

Conference registration fees are refundable, less a $500 service charge, until Friday, April 11, 2008. After that date, refunds will not be issued. To receive a refund, please provide your request in writing and fax it to the Conference Registrar at 650.240.2222.
