Apple Sues HTC [Complete Court Filings]

Earlier this morning, Apple revealed that it has filed suit against smartphone manufacturer HTC, accusing the company of infringing on 20 Apple patents tied to the iPhone. Named as exhibits in the litigation: A handful of Android and Windows Mobile devices. After the jump, copies of the suit, which was filed with the office of the United States International Trade Commission and the U.S. District Court in Delaware.

Elan Gives Apple the Multi-Finger

Earlier this year, Apple COO Tim Cook said the company would use “whatever weapons we have at our disposal” to pursue anyone who “rips off” Apple’s iPhone intellectual property. He’d better hope those weapons are as effective a defense as offense because the company may soon need them. Elan Microelectronics has slapped Apple with a lawsuit claiming the MacBook, iPhone and iPod touch infringe upon touchscreen patents it holds.
