The antitrust investigation Google is facing in Texas is quite a bit broader than originally thought. A civil investigative demand sent last July by the office of Attorney General Greg Abbott, and first reported by Bloomberg, reveals an inquiry not just into ad pricing, but site ranking and “the manual overriding or altering of” search results as well.

Dueling Spokesman in the Yahoogle Fight Say Exactly the Same Thing

Today, the New York Times did a thumbsucker on the fight over the controversial advertising partnership that Yahoo and Google have struck that is opposed by Microsoft, some advertisers and, maybe soon, the Justice Department. Thank goodness then for the liveliest part, which came when the Google and Microsoft talking heads squared off. Just like the dudes pictured here! Schwiiiiing!
