Analog Devices: FY Q4 Revenues, EPS Top Estimates

Analog Devices posted solid results for its fiscal first quarter ended Nov. 1, but provided guidance for the upcoming January quarter that was well short of analysts’ expectations. In short, the company’s order rates slowed up and backlog declined significantly enough for a reduction in operating staff and a more cautious approach in the near future.
