News ByteTinyCo announced today that it has raised $20 million in new financing from Pinnacle Ventures and other investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, which led an $18 million round in 2011. The funds will support new hiring and game development for 2014. CEO Suli Ali said the company hopes to make more games that players “get” in the first five minutes and then will want to share with friends. Along with the new financing, TinyCo announced that ArenaNet co-founder Mike O’Brien would join Ali and Marc Andreessen on its board.
