Web Video Platform Kaltura Raises $25 Million

Web video platform Kaltura has raised a $25 million round led by new investors Mitsui Global Investment and Orix Ventures. Earlier investors Nexus Venture Partners, Intel Capital, .406 Ventures and Avalon Ventures, that had previously put $43 million into the New York-based company, are back, as well. Competitors include Brightcove, Ooyala and Comcast’s thePlatform.
