HP Acquires Enterprise Database Outfit Stratavia

Hewlett-Packard, which seems to be losing its bidding war with Dell for 3Par, announced this morning that it has acquired Stratavia, a privately held company that specializes in enterprise database configuration and management and will strengthen HP’s offerings to automate data centers and cloud operations. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
