Zynga Hires Former Cisco Exec to be Chief Information Officer

Lots of new Zynga hires recently. In addition to Kara Swisher’s BoomTown report that Zynga has hired Taylor Barada, Yahoo’s recently appointed head of M&A, for an unspecified role, Zynga has now hired former Cisco exec Debra Chrapaty as CIO.

Top Microsoft Infrastructure Exec Chrapaty Heads to Cisco

One of Microsoft’s top execs, Debra Chrapaty, who heads its infrastructure business, is leaving the software giant to take a top job at Cisco, sources said. Chrapaty–whose title is corporate VP of Global Foundation Services–is also one of increasingly few top women tech execs at Microsoft, where she has worked for seven years. Chrapaty will now shift to products at Cisco, running the collaboration software group, according to sources.

Add another name to the list of Yahoo employees defecting to Microsoft. Dayne Sampson, Yahoo’s VP of Operations for Search and Advertising, has fled the company for its former suitor, Microsoft confirmed to Digital Daily.
