This week, we took a short walk down University Avenue in Silicon Valley with Keith Lee, co-founder and CEO of Booyah Games. We talked about his time as lead developer for Blizzard, his total lack of common sense, and how he’s trying to make the whole social game world “level up.” Don’t worry–we made him translate most of the gamer lingo.

The BoomTown Movin'-On-Up Tour of Twitter's New San Francisco HQ

Why Twitter invited BoomTown back for another visit to its latest HQ after my last one, I will never know. But the masters of microblogging did. So, here is my video of the lovely new digs in San Francisco, where a little over 100 Twitter employees toil–although it’s pretty pleasant toiling, with room for about 200 more–in offices most recently occupied by AOL’s now-banished Bebo social networking site.

Viral Video: Slap Chop Rap and Jam Wow!

In April, DJ Steve Porter remixed the most excellent infomercial–featuring television pitchman Vince Shlomi for the Slap Chop, an entertaining slasher of all foods–into a rap music video. It has now garnered 3.8 million views on YouTube, as well as now officially becoming an infomercial itself. Here’s the viral online video, along with another Porter did a month later for the legendary ShamWow.
