LivingSocial and Groupon Launch Deals for Nonprofits

Groupon has partnered with Feeding America today to promote its Groupon Now service, which offers deals that can be redeemed immediately. Today, lunches at all restaurants participating in Groupon Now will be $1, with a portion of the proceeds going to providing free meals to those in need. Separately, LivingSocial is raising $2 million in toys for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. For every $5 donation, Toys “R” Us, Hasbro and other partners will match the gift.
