InComm Buys Giftango, With Eye on Digital Gift Cards

InComm, an Atlanta-based company specializing in the distribution of prepaid cards, has acquired Portland, Ore.-based Giftango for an undisclosed sum. The seven-year-old company will help InComm expand into the sale of digital gift cards, including distribution through email, text messaging and mobile wallets. The company will remain in Portland, and will become a wholly owned subsidiary of InComm.
