Maymann Named Huffington Post CEO

Jimmy Maymann, who had been serving as AOL’s head of international operations, has been named CEO of the Huffington Post Media Group. He will report to Arianna Huffington, president and editor-in-chief, and now also chair of the Huffington Post Media Group. Maymann was the co-founder of Goviral, a content distribution network acquired by AOL in 2011.

Patch Names Steven Kalin President and COO

Patch, AOL’s local news platform, now has a president and COO, and it’s Steven Kalin, who previously held the COO position at radio syndication giant Westwood One and health and fitness publisher Rodale. He’ll report to Jon Brod, Patch’s CEO and co-founder.

HP today named John Schultz as executive VP and general counsel, replacing David Healy, who took the post on an interim basis in December. Schultz, who joined HP in 2008, will serve on the executive council and report to CEO Meg Whitman.

Electronic Arts’ CFO Heads to Polycom

Eric Brown, executive VP and Chief Financial Officer of Electronic Arts, gave his notice last week, the company said today. Brown is headed for Polycom, where he’ll serve as CFO and COO. His last day at EA will be Feb. 17, and Kenneth Barker, chief accounting officer, will hold down the fort until a replacement is named. In another change, Mark Tonnesen is joining EA as senior VP and CIO.

Netflix Shopping for New CMO After Leslie Kilgore Moves to Board
