One of the better bits on her terrific show, “My Life on the D List,” is comic Kathy Griffin’s fake boyfriend, Levi Johnston. As in, baby father to Sarah Palin’s grandchild. Johnston and the Palins had been on the outs, until it was announced this week in a turnabout that he was now engaged to Bristol Palin, the baby’s mother. Never to miss an opportunity, Griffin naturally fakes breakup heartache, using Johnston’s nude cover shoot from Playgirl as a prop.

BoomTown traveled to Washington, D.C., this week for festivities surrounding the 25th anniversary of the registration of the first .com domain name, and while in our nation’s capital, lugged a giant binder containing a paper printout of the National Broadband Plan to various historic spots for educational opportunities.

While in Washington, D.C., this week, BoomTown got to go to a dinner for comic Kathy Griffin. Griffin’s reality television show is called “My Life on the D List,” and we’re proud to share the same terrific letter. The former paramour of Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak also has a very choice word for tweeting on Twitter in this very funny video.

BoomTown is a major fan of comic Kathy Griffin, so here’s a good one by her from last week, in which she mocks Kate and Jon Gosselin (neither of whom seems to need any help looking like fools). Her “Kate Is Enough” video–which she did for “Jimmy Kimmel Live”–is very funny, mostly due to the brilliant casting of former Trekkie George Takei as Jon.
