Fix for Kindle iOS Bug Now Live in the App Store

After a quick review, Apple has cleared an update to Amazon’s Kindle for iOS app that fixes a bug in the previous version that deregistered iOS Kindle devices, deleting libraries, bookmarks and other settings. The updated app is now available in the iTunes App Store.

HP Hires Former Amazon Kindle Exec Mike Nash

And here’s yet another new hire at Hewlett-Packard. The tech giant has recently hired a former Amazon executive to join the consumer portion of its PC business. As first reported by GeekWire, and since confirmed by a company spokesman, Mike Nash, a former vice president at Amazon’s Kindle business unit, joined HP within the last month. He reports to Ron Coughlin, senior vice president of consumer PCs. Nash would be another of several recent executive departures at Amazon.
