Corning Exec Says LCD TV Demand Remains "Robust"

Corning says demand for LCD TVs remains robust. The company made the comment in a release issued late Monday after it gave investors a tour of its Gen 10 LCD glass facility in Sakai City, Japan. Corning Display Technologies President Jim Clappin said on the tour that January LCD TV sales in China were up 53 percent, in line with the company’s expectations.
