My iKid–Who Previously iJacked My iPhone–Also iJacked My iPad (Now, With Extra Help From His Little iBrother)

A year ago, I blogged about my son, Louie, in a post titled: “My iKid iJacked My iPhone: A Geek Parenting Tragedy.” So I was curious to see if he would be as eager to grab the new Apple iPad I just got last week. The verdict: Yes, and–because of its larger size–he now uses the iPad in a much more social way with his younger brother, Alex.

Freaky Geek Bear, Nooks, 3-D Cameras, Head Massages and a Facial for BoomTown: The Churchill Club GadgetFest Video!

Last night, Walt Mossberg and I hosted our seventh annual “What’s Hot and What’s Not in Personal Technology” program for the Churchill Club in Silicon Valley. Every year, we show off a range of new tech toys to the crowd, helped by our regular gadget freak, Greg Harper, and by guest “tech geek” celebs. This year they were Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and Mike Schroepfer, the social networking site’s VP of Engineering. Here’s a video from the event.

Last night, Walt Mossberg and I hosted yet another annual “What’s Hot and What’s Not in Personal Technology” event for the Churchill Club. It was a gadgetfest with BoomTown, Walt Mossberg, Gadgetoff’s Greg Harper and Twitter Co-Founder and CEO Evan Williams presenting the digital show-and-tell. Here is a rather longish video of the event, which is well worth watching. (Yes, I am–along with my No. 1 son, Louie, and an animatronic Elvis–wearing a Yahoo hat.)

Kara's What's Hot in Tech 2007, Starring London and Louie

The Public Relations Society of America, Silicon Valley chapter, asked me to make a short video for its dinner last night about what was hot in tech in 2007 and also what surprised me. They did not use it, as I got it in too late, so here it is! I made it when I [...]
