iPads Available at “Most Best Buy Stores” This Saturday

When Apple’s iPad goes on sale this Saturday, it will be available at all of the company’s 221 U.S. Apple retail outlets and most Best Buy stores. In other news, some of the earliest early iPad adopters have begun receiving shipping notifications for the devices.

“Think MacBook screen, possibly a bit smaller, in glass with iPhone-like, but fuller-featured Multi-Touch. Gesture library. Full Mac OS X…. By October at the latest.” That rumor, posted to MacDailyNews this past June, generated quite a stir among Apple watchers, but nothing ever came of it. But now, new reports suggest Apple may have just such a device somewhere deep in the bowels of Infinite Loop.
