Mobile Wallet Venture Isis Beefs Up With More Bank Cards

Isis, the mobile payments joint venture between Verizon Wireless, AT&T and T-Mobile USA, announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona today that it is adding Chase, Barclaycard and Capital One cards to the Isis Mobile Wallet. Last July, Isis announced relationships with Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express to allow account holders to pay using wireless phones with NFC “one-tap” payment capabilities. The Isis Mobile Wallet app, which will go head to head with other mobile payment solutions like Google Wallet, will first launch in Salt Lake City and Austin midyear.
