Apparently, RIM’s co-CEO has developed a boiling point right around room temperature. In the latest in a series of awkward PR moments (his December D:Dive Into Mobile appearance among them), Mike Lazaridis broke off a BBC interview after a question he could have–and should have–handled easily.

The executive turmoil at the very top of Yahoo continues, with the company poised to announce the resignations of three top execs, including U.S. head Hilary Schneider, according to sources close to the situation. The other execs also leaving, which Yahoo is planning on revealing Friday: U.S. Audience head David Ko and, as BoomTown previously reported, VP of Media Jimmy Pitaro.

Ad Market Looks Worse Than Expected, Which Is What We Expected

It has been three months since Zenith Optimedia revised its ad market forecast downward. Which means it’s time to knock it down once again. The ad buying firm now thinks the market will shrink by 8.5 percent this year, which is worse than the 6.9 percent decrease it predicted in April, which was worse than the 0.2 percent decrease it threw out in December. Past performance is no guarantee of future results, of course. But anyone want to bet on what happens in three months?
