Twitter Releases Windows 8 App

Twitter on Wednesday released its first native application for Windows 8, Microsoft’s most recent operating system overhaul. The release incorporates many Windows 8-specific functions into the Twitter experience, including “snap view,” a heavy emphasis on photos and full use of Microsoft’s signature “Live Tiles” notifications.
