			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In a possible indication that Apple (AAPL) is experimenting with a new development area, the company appears to have hired wearable computing expert Richard DeVaul in January as a senior prototype scientist. A graduate of the MIT Media Lab, Mr. DeVaul is best known for inventing &#8220;memory glasses&#8221;&#8211;tiny computer displays mounted on eyeglasses that would subtly remind people of things they may have forgotten. He describes his expertise in his blog as &#8220;signal processing and real-time statistical classification techniques.&#8221;</p>
