Motorola Cuts Will Cost Google at Least $275 Million
Saving money at Motorola won’t be cheap for Google. The search giant says it will take a “severance-related charge” of up to $275 million when it lays off some 4,000 workers this year. Google tells investors that overhauling Motorola will end up generating other losses, as well. “Although Google cannot currently predict the amount of these other charges at this time, these additional charges could be significant.”News Byte
