AMD: Did We Say Q3 Would Be Seasonally Up? We Meant the Exact Opposite

Well, this doesn’t bode well for the on-the-rebound PC industry. AMD today cut its third-quarter sales forecast, saying the revenue that it had expected to be “up seasonally” from the second quarter will actually be down one to four percent. The reason: “weaker-than-expected demand, particularly in the consumer notebook market in Western Europe and North America.”
