Pulse Gets Quicker With $9M in Funding

The news reader app maker Pulse has raised $9 million in Series A funding from NEA, Greycroft Partners and Lerer Ventures. Palo Alto, Calif.-based Pulse says it now has 4 million users across its iPad, iPhone and Android apps, and it was recently recognized with an Apple Design Award.
