Palm Pre Plus Priced to Not Move at AT&T

How will Palm’s Pre Plus fare against Apple’s iPhone on the latter’s home turf? We’ll soon out. AT&T said today that it will begin peddling the Palm Pre Plus on May 16. Price: $150 after contract and mail-in rebate, which seems a bit high given the device’s bargain-basement pricing on other networks.

Apple iPad 3G Arrives in U.S. on April 30

When Apple said the 3G-enabled version of its new iPad slate would ship by “late April,” it wasn’t kidding. In a press release issued moments ago, the company said the device will arrive at market and in the hands of U.S. customers who pre-ordered it on Friday, April 30.

Apple: 300,000 Wi-Fi-Only iPads Sold on First Day

Turns out, first-day sales of the iPad weren’t quite as “magical and revolutionary” as some thought. This morning, Apple said it sold over 300,000 iPads in the U.S. as of midnight Saturday, April 3–including pre-orders.

Chinese Apple Fans Twice as Likely to Purchase Future Apple Products

“China represents Apple’s next major geographic growth opportunity.” So says Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty, who believes the new retail stores the company plans to open in the country over the next few years will spike sales.
