Bebo CTO and hi5 Founder Akash Garg Joins Twitter

Akash Garg, who was most recently CTO of Bebo, has joined Twitter. Garg had previously been responsible for the technology behind early social networking site hi5, where he was a co-founder. He will be part of Twitter’s API team, said team product manager Ryan Sarver. Twitter PR confirmed Garg is now an engineer on the Platform team.
