Best Buy Cuts MacBook Pro Price by $200 for Back-to-School Season

It’s only the middle of July, but Best Buy is already kicking off back-to-school season by reducing the price of two of its best-selling MacBook Pro models by $200. The 13.1-inch MacBook Pro with a 500 gigabyte hard drive and 4GB of memory now costs $1,000, while the 13.1-inch model with a 750GB hard drive and 8GB of memory is $1,300. Students who register on Best Buy’s Student Deals site with their “.edu” email address will get an additional $100 in savings. The MacBook promotion starts today, and will end July 27.
