Q2 Worldwide PC Shipments Fell Five Percent, Gartner Says

Worldwide PC shipments fell 5 percent in the second quarter from a year earlier, according to market research firm Gartner. That exceeded the company’s previous forecast of a 9.8 percent decline. Gartner said the better-than-expected results reflect “a small sign of a PC market recovery in terms of shipment volumes in some regions.”
