News ByteSources tell Bloomberg that the carrier is considering submitting a counteroffer to the cash-and-stock deal struck by MetroPCS and T-Mobile parent Deutsche Telekom Wednesday. An interesting development, to say the least. Sprint was poised to acquire MetroPCS earlier this year, but the company’s board of directors balked at the deal at the last minute.
