Or rather he was responsible–until Monday, when his bio was abruptly updated with this little note:

Stuart Scott’s employment at Microsoft ended in early November
2007.”

Why was Scott dismissed? Microsoft didn’t really say (though there are theories). “We can confirm that Stuart Scott’s employment with Microsoft has been terminated after an investigation for violation of company policies,” a spokesperson said in a statement. “In the interim, Microsoft General Manager Shahla Aly and Corporate Vice President Alain Crozier will assume his responsibilities until a replacement is identified.”
