The Knot: Susquehanna Upgrades on Improved Local Ad Outlook

The Knot shares are trading higher this morning after Susquehanna Financial Group analyst Malindi Davies upgraded shares of the online wedding site to Positive from Neutral, setting a $9 price target. “The risk/reward balance for KNOT has improved over the last few months, in our view,” Davies writes in a research note.

Susquehanna Downgrades Intel, Broadcom on Slower Demand

Susquehanna Financial Group analyst Chris Caso this afternoon downgraded both Intel and Broadcom, citing signs of slowing end market demand for PCs.

RIM: Susquehanna Initiates With “Positive,” $94 Target

Some positive views bubbling up today for BlackBerry maker Research in Motion, as Susquehanna Financial Group’s Jeffrey Fidarco initiates coverage of its stock with a “Positive” rating and a price target of $94, which would be about 18 percent upside from the current price. And an increase in estimates by Oppenheimer & Co.’s Ittai Kidron.

eBay: Plenty of Options to Unlock Value

On Wednesday, eBay will hold a meeting with analysts to discuss the current business and strategy. There is little expectation that the company will announce any dramatic moves, and concern about the health of the business remains high, as expressed by eBay’s surprisingly low P/E–the stock trades at just seven times expected 2009 results. Of the 29 analysts tracked by Thomson who follow the company, only four rate the stock a Buy or Strong Buy.
