Uber Approved for NYC Taxi E-Hail

Uber is the first application to be approved for the New York City taxicab e-hail pilot, per Valleywag, after a judge cleared the program earlier this week. Other mobile apps in line for NYC approval include Hailo (which may have jumped the gun in alerting users today), Flywheel and Taxi Magic.
