An “Apple corporate employee” tells Wired that the diminutive desktop has received a long overdue upgrade that’s to be revealed at the annual expo. Just what the rumored upgrade entails is unclear, although more powerful processors and video cards are likely a sure thing. Beyond that, it’s tough to say, though an official nod to those who’d like to use the Mini as a media center would certainly be nice.
