Sony to Host PlayStation Event February 20

Sony has just sent out invites for a Feb. 20 event where we may get our first glimpse of the PlayStation 4. The company also teased the event on its official PlayStation Twitter account, inviting users to “See the future,” with a link to this cryptic video. There aren’t a ton of details in the clip, but it ends with the traditional PlayStation symbols. It has been more than six years since the company released the PlayStation 3, so a next-gen console would certainly be welcome. The Feb. 20 event kicks off in New York at 3 pm PT.

Nintendo 3DS XL Now Available in U.S

It’s game on for Nintendo’s newest portable gaming system. The Nintendo 3DS XL is now on sale for $200 at Toys “R” Us, GameStop and Target. First introduced in June, it features screens that are 90 percent larger than the original 3DS, and also promises better battery life. Included in the package is an AC adapter and a four gigabyte SD card. The New Super Mario Bros. 2 videogame also launches today.
