Remember the Walkman? Evidently, Japan does, because Sony’s digital music player has outsold Apple’s iPod there for the first time in more than four years, according to research outfit BCN.

Sony isn’t convinced there’s a market for tablet computers, though Apple has sold more than a million of them since April and Intel this week predicted that the tablet market will grow from 73 to 88 percent between now and 2014.
