IPhone Good for AT&T, But Bad for Coolness of Some

A new survey out this week suggests that AT&T didn’t get such a shabby deal when it agreed to be the exclusive domestic carrier for Apple’s iPhone. … According to the survey of iPhone customers, the device could deliver $2 billion in new wireless service revenue to AT&T, despite widespread belief that Apple is getting a big cut of monthly wireless fees from its partner.
