Talking Social Networks on “Science Friday” (Audio)
Just before the D9 storm hit last week, I posted a long piece on a favorite topic–what’s the future of the social Web? For the story, I looked at weaknesses of social networking leader Facebook’s friending and identity systems, and compared them to some start-ups and other efforts that might be doing a better job of thinking creatively about these areas.
Ira Flatow of NPR’s “Science Friday” kindly asked me on the show to riff on this topic and highlight some up-and-coming social networks.
