Splashtop Partners With Chipmakers to Speed Up Its iPad Remote Desktop Service

Splashtop said Tuesday it has been working with a number of leading chipmakers to help speed up its Splashtop Remote Desktop service, which allows iPads and other smartphones and tablets to remotely connect to PCs and Macs. The company said the work with Freescale, Intel, Nvidia, Qualcomm and Texas Instruments allows its software to run up to 15 times faster than some competing products.
