Nokia CEO Stephen Elop has not had the best of times since he left a top job at Microsoft to take over the reins of the Finnish mobile giant.
What with layoffs, executive shakeups, an earnings scare and stock drops, along with a need to completely overhaul its offerings, he’s had a lot to wrangle with.
Oh yes, there’s also that big deal with Microsoft and its Windows Phone that had better work.
No wonder Elop penned that memorable missive to Nokia about jumping off of burning platforms.
