Eduardo Saverin Leads $7M Funding in ShopSavvy
Three-year-old ShopSavvy, maker of popular comparison shopping apps, has raised its first outside funding: $7 million led by Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin. ShopSavvy CEO Alexander Muse said he plans to expand into social sharing and outfit-comparison polls, add a wallet feature and recruit celebrity users. ShopSavvy has 10 million active users, with 20 million user images uploaded, as well as relationships with 40,000 retailers.
