Motorola Atrix HD Coming to AT&T July 15

AT&T announced today the upcoming availability of Motorola’s latest Android smartphone, the Motorola Atrix HD.

On sale July 15 for $100 with a two-year contract, the Atrix HD offers a 4.5-inch touchscreen, with an eight-megapixel camera on back. The smartphone measures just 0.33-inch thick and features an invisible nano-coating that protects both the phone’s exterior and interior from accidental splashes.

The Atrix HD runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and comes with a new Motorola Circle widget that shows you your data usage, notifications, weather and battery life at a glance.

For business users, the handset includes such security features as password protection, device and SD card data encryption, and the ability to remotely wipe the phone and SD card.

The Motorola Atrix HD will be available in white or silver, and for a limited time, AT&T will throw in a vehicle dock for free with the purchase of the phone.
