Two More Proxy Firms Back the $24.4 Billion Dell Buyout Plan
And if you haven’t had enough news on the Dell buyout front, there’s this: Proxy advisory firm Glass Lewis has weighed in on the $24.4 billion leveraged buyout proposed by Michael Dell and private equity firm Silver Lake. According to a news release from Dell, the firm recommended that shareholders vote for the proposal, echoing the view of Institutional Shareholder Services, which did the same this morning. A third firm, Egan Jones, backed it today as well.
