Online Lingerie Retailer Adore Me Nabs $8.5 Million Series B
Apparently, the subscription e-commerce trend isn’t going away anytime soon. New York City-based Adore Me, which sends members a matching pair of bras and panties each month, has raised an $8.5 million Series B investment from Upfront Ventures (formerly GRP), Mousse Partners and Redhills Ventures. The company sells intimate apparel and swimwear that it designs itself, mostly at a price point of around $39.95 a pair. Members of its monthly club get every sixth pair free.
