Yahoo Acquires Mobile Ad Tech Startup Admovate
Yahoo announced on Wednesday that it acquired Admovate, a mobile advertising startup. Another in a string of mobile-focused acquisitions for Yahoo under the leadership of Marissa Mayer, this acquisition, Yahoo said, is part of ongoing efforts to invest in its ad tech platforms Apt, Genome and Right Media. Admovate’s team will join Yahoo’s display ad team in Sunnyvale, Calif. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
