Microsoft Says Developers to Get Early Access to Windows 8.1, After All

Microsoft reversed course on Monday, saying it will indeed offer developers in its MSDN and TechNet programs early access to Windows 8.1. Redmond had initially said that all customers would have to wait until the software is made broadly available on Oct. 18.
