Andreessen Horowitz-Backed Jumio Introduces One-Click “Pay With Passbook” Purchases for iPhone Apps

Jumio, the payments company backed by Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin and Andreessen Horowitz, today announced a product called PORT that will let mobile app users fill in their payment info by snapping a photo of their credit card with their phone, save that info to Apple’s Passbook wallet app and then complete future transactions within partnering apps by simply clicking a “Pay with Passbook” button. Airbnb and Fab, the company said, are current Jumio customers.
